Last week I write a scene for my new book where terrorists use explosive-laden drones to attempt to assassinate the President of the USA, and this week Venezuelan President Maduro is attacked with exploding drones. Is someone reading my first drafts?

Time to make the word count!

An important step in a writer’s journey is realizing that you are NOT your work. You work can suck, and that’s okay. It doesn’t mean that YOU suck. Conversely, you can write an amazing story and be a total shit.

I just finished proofing the audiobook as narrated by the talented David Loving. I think it’s a winner! I also completed the Deal with the Devil manuscript. Now it’s time for the rewerite, then I can get it sent off to my editor and begin the next Project StrikeForce novel.

I’m nearly finished with the first draft of Deal With The Devil. There are so many loose ends. I’ve been planning on wrapping up a lot of little mysteries so that I can start telling even bigger, crazier stories! I’m also finishing up the production of the audiobook for Project StrikeForce. My narrator, Patrick Freeman, is amazing. I got chills listening to it!

I passed the halfway mark on the new Sam Harlan novel, Deal With The Devil. Gotta resist the tempation to stop work on it and start plotting the next Project StrikeForce novel. Gotta resist!!!

Had a great time watching Junior Brown tear it up at the Castle Theater in Bloomington, Illinois Friday night. As you can see, I had a GREAT seat!
