I passed the halfway mark on the new Sam Harlan novel, Deal With The Devil. Gotta resist the tempation to stop work on it and start plotting the next Project StrikeForce novel. Gotta resist!!!

Had a great time watching Junior Brown tear it up at the Castle Theater in Bloomington, Illinois Friday night. As you can see, I had a GREAT seat!

I spent a pleasant Saturday afternoon at the Illinois State Fair hanging out with the crew of Five Finger Death Punch. Harry Reese, one of the most awesome rock photogs in the world, captured this moment with one of my oldest friends, Bruce Reiter. Bruce is the FOH mixer/Producation Manger/Tour Manager for 5FDP. I couldn’t be more proud of him!

Nearing the end of the new StrikeForce novel
The new StrikeForce novel, The Lotus Blossom, is nearing the end. In writing terms, that means the work is just beginning. Rewrites, edits, more rewrites, more edits, etc… Please grant me the coffee I need to complete this project! I’ve already started taking notes for the next Sam Harlan novel. It will be set in Chicago, and Henry Hastings will be a big player as Sam finally meets one of
